Supporting local businesses feels more important than ever, especially with the rising costs and pressures so many small companies are facing right now. We’ve made it a priority to get out and support our community, and as dog owners, we thought we’d explore Fleet to see what’s on offer for you and your furry friends. Two places really stood out to us: Bella Capri and Cantine.

Bella Capri: A Breakfast Treat for Everyone

Our first discovery was Bella Capri, a fantastic spot we hadn’t realised served breakfast. We tried the vegetarian breakfast, and it was a real game-changer! The portions were generous, the presentation was on point, and the flavours were spot on. It’s definitely one of our must-return places.

What makes Bella Capri even more special, beyond the tasty food, is how dog-friendly they are. If you’re planning to bring your pup, we’d recommend booking ahead. The staff are incredibly welcoming and make sure both you and your dog have a comfortable, relaxed spot. It’s that kind of warm, thoughtful service that makes you feel right at home.

Cantine: A Dog-Lover’s Paradise

Next, we stopped by Cantine, a coffee and breakfast spot created especially with dog owners in mind. Walking in, you can feel the friendly buzz of a true community space. We ordered a herbal tea and shared a slice of their lemon drizzle cake, which was absolutely delicious. The cake was perfectly moist, with just the right amount of zest, and made the whole experience even better.

But the real highlight of Cantine is its atmosphere. The place was packed with dogs of all breeds and sizes, happily mingling and making friends. The staff were exceptionally friendly and clearly love what they do, creating a relaxed, dog-friendly haven for owners and their pups.

Why We’re Supporting Local

Choosing to support places like Bella Capri and Cantine is about more than just enjoying a good meal or a cuppa. It’s about investing in our local community, helping small businesses thrive, and making sure Fleet remains vibrant and full of life. We feel lucky to have such wonderful dog-friendly spots nearby.

So, if you’re looking to support local businesses while enjoying quality food and a welcoming atmosphere, grab your dog and head over to Bella Capri and Cantine. Your pup will love it, and you’ll be doing your bit to support our local community.
